在皖南红黄壤上施用磷肥,对小麦、油菜和紅花草均有增产效果,但增产幅度因作物而异,以紅花草最显著。1962—1963年我們試验証明,每亩施过磷酸鈣二十斤,紅花草增产107.7%,合每斤磷肥增产二十点三斤鲜草;其次是油菜,增产98.1%,每斤磷肥增产二斤菜籽;小麦增产效果小,仅10.2%,每斤磷肥增产一点一斤。这是因为豆科作物鈣磷比与氮磷比均高于禾本科作物,因此,具有强烈的吸磷能力和具备磷肥发揮肥效的生理条件。十字花科作物对磷肥也比禾本科作物敏感,且因油荣在冬季生长,气温低,一般作物吸收养分比較困难,而磷能增强作物根系发育和呼吸强度,从而加强了吸收养分的能力。通过1962—1964年的試驗看出,在施用技术上要注意四点:1.最好能把磷肥施于紅花草上,用小肥养大肥,以磷增氮。2.紅花草和油菜有随施磷量

Cruciferous crops are also more sensitive to phosphate than grasses, and due to the fact that oil glory grows in winter and the temperature is low, it is generally harder for crops to absorb nutrients. Phosphorus, on the other hand, enhances crop root development and respiratory intensity, thereby enhancing nutrient absorption.
