本为励志而在百忙一闲中绘几幅墨竹,练几笔书法,殊不料十多年的寸积尺累竟斐然成为大家。全国人大代表、随州市委书记蒋昌忠的作品已被日本、巴西、韩国及国内多家艺术院馆收藏和刊发,并分别荣获特别荣誉金奖,名家精品奖等。1998年11月,他被国际美术家联合会、中国书画艺术名人研究院等16家艺术团体联合评为“书画艺术名人”。并被日本一家艺术学院聘为客座教授。
