IN 2011,the H of Africa experienced its worst drought in more than 60 years.The drought followed two rainless seasons that led to crop failures,widespread loss of livestock and rising food prices in parts of Ethiopia,Kenya,Djibouti,Somalia and Uganda.The drought left over 11 million people in need of life-saving assistance t hroughout the region.
