群众路线教育实践活动是新时期、新阶段推进和加强党的建设、改进工作作风、密切干群关系的重要举措。通过群众路线教育实践活动调研工作的深入开展,我更加深刻地认识到群众路线既是法宝,又是目标;既是源头,又是大海;群众路线走彻底了,各项工作才能取得更大发展。群众路线既是法宝,又是目标“政之所兴,在顺民心;政之所废,在逆民心。”历史经验证明,群众路线是我们党的法宝,党最大的政治优势是密切联系群众,党的最大危险就是脱离群众。我们党多次强调,党的先进性和党的执政地位都不是一劳永逸、一成不变的。换言之,如果我们党离开了群众,就丧失了执政基础,也没有了执政理由。

Our party has repeatedly emphasized that neither the party’s progressiveness nor the party’s ruling position is permanent and immutable. In other words, if our party leaves the masses, it loses its ruling foundation and has no reason for governing.
