于光远,1915年生。大学攻读物理专业。1935年起致力于中国民主与社会革命和社会主义建设事业,是中国资深的哲学、经济学等学科的专家,是一个百科全书式的学者。1931年在阅读参加伦敦心灵学会的英国物理学家J·J·Thomson所著《科学大纲》中“灵学”一章后开始认识到伪科学的存在。1949年夏又得知超感知觉(ESP)与心灵运动(PK)——它们是上世纪“心灵研究”的近代产物。在文化大命前,于光远在中共中央宣传部科学处长任内运用他的知识和职权给伪科学以有效的打击。1979年3月以来,伪科学活动在中国连续进行20年,并
Yu Guangyuan, born in 1915. University study physics. Since 1935, he devoted himself to the cause of China’s democratic and social revolution and the construction of socialism. He is an expert in Chinese philosophy and economics and an encyclopedic scholar. In 1931 he began to recognize the existence of pseudo-science after reading the chapter “Spirituality” in the “Syllabus for Science” by British physicist JJ Thomson who participated in the London Soul Society. In the summer of 1949, it was learned that ESP and PS (PK) - they are the modern product of the last century “psychic research.” Before his cultural life, Yu Guangyuan used his knowledge and authority within the office of director of science of the Propaganda Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China to combat pseudo-sciences effectively.
