成都地区白蚁种类多达三科十四种。一九七六年对我市东、西城区公私房计三十二万平方米(六千八百余户)进行了蚁害调查,被害率竟达百分之七十五。为了改变这种局面,必须狠抓白蚁防治科研工作。一九八三年我们防治二十六万九干零六十四平方米,七十八个单位,纯收入四万元左右。于此同时,我们还扩大服务内容,兼带防治黄、黑蚂蚁、蟑螂三万八千平方米,得到群众好评。
