In the mutual translation of English and Chinese, the translation skills are endless, complex and diverse, and abstract nouns are both important and difficult, the importance of translation is evident. This article will give a rough analysis of the translation of abstract nouns in English-Chinese translation. Abstract English and Chinese in English translation of abstract terms are broadly divided into two kinds: the first kind, the abstract noun has the verb root, translated as a verb; the second, there is no verb root to be translated. The subject-predicate structure, the verb-object structure, the subordinate structure, and the adjectives that translate abstract nouns into Chinese can be specifically translated into Chinese. Differences in translation strategies are mainly based on the content of the articles, the contextual relationships, and the Chinese word habits. This article will provide a brief analysis of different translation methods in various contexts.
