20世纪80年代以来,学术界一直比较重视宗白华美学思想与西方思想、中国老庄思想关联的研究,但对其与佛学思想关联的研究还不够深入。宗白华思想与佛学关系密切,在哲学层面,宗白华依据佛学理论来理解叔本华等西方哲学家,确立体用兼备的人生观思想,关照军事、科技等现实生活,佛学是其哲学思想的最高精义;在美学层面,宗白华依据佛学理论确立“同情”说、“静照”说、“意境”说等,佛学是其美学思想的最高境界。总之,宗白华依据大乘佛学的精深义理来构建自己的思想体系,解决他所面临的现实问题,因此,佛学是宗白华美学思想“最深的心灵”。
Since the 1980s, academia has been paying more attention to the study of Zong Baihua's aesthetic thought and the western thought and the Chinese Lao Zhuang's thought, but the research on its association with the Buddhist thought is still not deep enough. On the philosophical level, Zong Baihua understood Schopenhauer and other western philosophers according to the theory of Buddhism, established the thought of outlook on life with both body and work, and paid attention to the real life like military and science and technology. Buddhism is its philosophy In the aesthetic level, Zong Baihua establishes “sympathy” according to the theory of Buddhism, saying “stillness” and “mood”, Buddhism is the highest level of his aesthetic thoughts. In short, Zong Baihua constructed his own ideological system according to the profound principles of Mahayana Buddhism and solved his realistic problems. Therefore, Buddhism is Zong Baihua's aesthetics thought “the deepest heart”.
