The Silk Road is a concept that was first promulgated by the Prussian scholar Ferdinand von Richthofen (1833-1905) in the late nineteenth century.Being referred as the crucial link between Weste and Easte civilizations in the ancient world,this term has inspired vigorous research among scholars of the world.Yet,few scholars have taken a critical view to examine the concept itself.
