在[1]中,作者指出:“作物的数量性状受微效多基因控制,由于基因间的连锁及交互作用,一个数量性状的变化,往往引起其他数量性状的相应的变化。充分估计数量性状间的这种相关变化的关系,对作物的遗传育种具有指导作用。”本文从数量遗传的观点出发,在所研究的数量性状集合中,对由于一个数量性状的变化而可能引起的各个数量性状的相关变化给予度量,并且定义为该数量性状的遗传相关信息,进而研究了数量性状的遗传相关贡献及遗传相关信息的可加性,还讨论了以上各个概念与方法在作物遗传育种中可能的应用。
