在区域经济发展过程中，区域物流正悄然融入区域经济一体化进程中，逐渐成为区域经济合作框架的重要内容之一，成为区域经济一体化的突破口与重要合作领域。但国内区域物流与国外先进水平还有很大差距，尤其是缺乏成规模的物流企业，无法形成较为紧密的物流网络体系，区域物流尚有较大的潜力有待于在经济一体化进程中深入挖掘。为促使区域物流市场整体运行绩效达到理想状态，应在区域经济一体化的框架下，以市场一体化进程为基础，健全区域物流合作的市场体系，加大区域物流规划的执行力度，构建功能完善的区域物流体系，促进区域基础设施与信息平台建
