我县地处滦河下游,滨海平原,是冀东产粮大县之一,素有“冀东粮仓”之称。近年来,在县委、县政府的领导下,立足本地土地资源优势,大力发展经济林,又成为林果之乡,果品生产取得长足进展。截止1994年底,全县果树面积发展到14.26万亩,果品产量达到2.18亿公斤,连续三年跃居唐山市首位,果品总产值2.5亿元,占全县农业总产值的20%。果品特产税超600万元,高于全县企业年财政总收入。
Lixian County is located in the lower reaches of the Luanhe, Binhai Plain, Jidong is one of the major grain-producing counties, known as “Jidong granary ” said. In recent years, under the leadership of the county Party committee and county government, based on the advantages of local land resources, vigorously develop economic forests, and become a hometown of fruits and trees, fruit production has made great strides. By the end of 1994, the area of fruit trees in the county had grown to 142,600 mu and fruit production reached 218 million kg, ranking the first in Tangshan City for three consecutive years. The total output value of fruits reached 250 million yuan, accounting for 20% of the county’s total agricultural output value. Fruit product tax over 6 million yuan, higher than the county’s total annual financial revenue.
