The 6th Hong Kong International Wushu Competition was held at the Hong Kong Kowloon Bay International Exhibition Center from August 16 to August 18, 2011. It is attended by various provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions in China and Austria, the United States, Ukraine, Norway, France, Canada, Germany, Nearly 2,000 people from 158 teams representing Japan, Thailand, South Korea, Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and the Philippines attended the competition, demonstrating the vitality and significant influence of the Hong Kong International Wushu Competition.
