在平息了去年春夏之交北京发生的反革命暴乱后,全党都在冷静地反思党的建设的经验教训。在这场政治斗争中,我们绝大多数党员表现是好的,经受了考验。但也有一些共产党员犹豫动摇,不同程度地卷入动乱,有的甚至成为动乱和反革命暴乱的煽动者、策划者、组织者和指挥者。严酷的事实,充分暴露了赵紫阳同志担任总书记期间忽视党的建设、放松党员教育所造成的严重危害。实践告诉我们:始终一贯地抓好党员教育,全面提高党员素质是多么重要,认真研究和解决这方面的问题,使党员教育适应形势发展的需要,保证党员队伍政治上的健康成长,是我们贯彻落实中央的部署和要求,聚精会神地抓好党的建设的一个重要课题。
After pacifying the counter-revolutionary riots that took place in Beijing last spring and summer, all the Party members are calmly thinking about the experiences and lessons of party building. In the political struggle, most of our party members performed well and have stood the test of time. However, some Communists also hesitated to vacillation to varying degrees, and some even became instigators, planners, organizers and commanders of unrest and counter-revolutionary riots. The harsh facts have fully exposed Comrade Zhao Ziyang’s role as general secretary in neglecting party building and loosening the serious harm caused by party members’ education. Practice tells us: It is so important that we consistently grasp party members ’education and improve the quality of party members in all aspects. We must earnestly study and solve these problems so that party members’ education can meet the needs of the development of the situation and ensure the political and healthy growth of party members. Implementing the arrangements and demands of the Central Committee and concentrating on an important issue of party building.
