According to the British Tire News reported that Michelin North American company in New South Carolina Starr OTR tire factory has successfully been born. The first OTR tire was 13 feet (4 m) tall and weighed 5.5 t. The local media was invited to attend the birth ceremony. The Plantra Tire factory is adjacent to the existing rubber processing plant in Michelin.
