一、前言 1974年北京市高血压病协作组调查了本市916名炊事员,调查的因素有十五个,要求找出这十五个因素中主要影响血压增高的几个因素。这样的一类问题在医学、生物学中还是常见的。例如在临床中为治疗某种疾病,使用了很多种药物,给药方式也不相同,在人的性别、体重等另外因素不能控制的情况下,如何去比较各种药物及给药方式对于疗效的影响呢?后者的问题与前面的问题在统计学上是一样的。对这类问题,过去常用的处理方法是把多因素简单地拆开成十五个单独的因素去处理。
