本文回顾姓名翻译的原则和中国相关部门制定的一些标准,关注第29届北京奥运会上中国运动员姓名翻译的情况。在充分肯定这次姓名翻译的进步的同时,也指出其中的几点不足,希望对以后姓名翻译的完善有所帮助。
This article reviews the principles of name translation and some standards set by the relevant departments in China and focuses on the translation of names of Chinese athletes during the 29th Beijing Olympic Games. While fully affirming the progress of this name translation, it also pointed out some of the shortcomings, and hoped that it would be helpful to improve the future name translation.
