Porous chrome plating has been widely used in various industrial sectors in recent years to improve wear resistance and to recondition mechanical parts [1] - [5]. Based on the use of materials with porous chromium layers, their abrasion resistance and pot life are several times greater than for non-chromed parts. The correct choice of porous chromium layer structure is the basis for the effective application of this chromium plating method ─ ─ this coating under certain conditions of use
