探讨了快报类科技期刊的发展及其一般特点,对其编辑出版时滞、出版频率及篇幅容量与情报速发性作了比较分析.指出编辑出版时滞短,出版频率快,篇幅少容量大,使快报类科技情报速发性高,向快报类期刊分化,逐步形成快报类期刊一族,是当前科技期刊的重要发展趋势.
