当记者的自然应该会嫁接而且有术。譬如,两件看起来似乎没有什么联系的事情,经记者的妙笔一“嫁接”,便揭示出其中内在的某种关系,发现引人深思的问题,阐明一些道理。这说明记者有功力,也有水平。但是,嫁接也不是萝卜、白菜、茄子、黄瓜都可往一处去“接”的。两种事物之间有没有联系,是否有嫁接的可能?这需要记者依靠自己的鉴别力、观察力、文化素养、知识结构、实践积累等等加以判断。即便能“嫁接”,还要看如何“接”,怎么“嫁”。嫁接不好,兴许生出个“肿瘤”,亦未可知。这几年,我常看到报纸上出现这样的消息:某某城市目前欣赏严肃音乐的人数增多,听流行音乐的人数锐减;或者:某某地区文学名著销量看好,通俗文
