码率控制在视频编码中起着非常重要的作用。根据H.264/AVC编码标准的特性及其HDR部分对码率控制的要求,文章采用一种适用于H.264/AVC的自适应码率控制算法,该算法实现了率失真优化与码率控制的结合,保证了编解码缓冲区既不上溢又不下溢。实验结果表明,与早期JVT提案中的码率控制方法相比,本文所采用的方法能够在准确控制码率的同时提高视频序列的PSNR值。
Bit rate control plays a very important role in video coding. According to the characteristics of H.264 / AVC coding standard and the requirements of HDR part for rate control, an adaptive rate control algorithm for H.264 / AVC is proposed in this paper. This algorithm realizes the rate-distortion optimization and code rate The combination of controls ensures that the codec buffer does not overflow nor underflow. The experimental results show that compared with the rate control method in the earlier JVT proposal, the proposed method can improve the PSNR of the video sequence while controlling the bit rate accurately.
