北京天坛医院坐落在世界著名的天坛公园西侧,是一所以神经外科为重点的大型综合性医院。北京市神经外科研究所、北京市医学影像中心和全国脑血管病防治研究办公室同设在院内。北京天坛医院和北京市神经外科研究所是世界三大神经外科研究中心之一,是亚洲最大的神经外科临床、科研、教学基地。1997年医院更名为“中国医学科学院北京天坛医院”。
Beijing Tiantan Hospital is located on the west side of the world-famous Tiantan Park. It is a large-scale comprehensive hospital focused on neurosurgery. The Beijing Institute of Neurosurgery, the Beijing Medical Imaging Center and the National Cerebrovascular Disease Prevention and Research Office are also located in the hospital. Beijing Tiantan Hospital and Beijing Institute of Neurosurgery is one of the world’s three major neurosurgical research centers. It is the largest clinical, scientific research, and teaching base for neurosurgery in Asia. In 1997, the hospital was renamed “Beijing Tiantan Hospital of the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences.”
