在中国,家庭仍然是养老的主要场所,对老年人的照顾主要是通过特定的居住安排(老人与子女居住在一起)来进行的.随着工业化和城市化的进程,居住方式发生了巨大的变化,越来越多的老人选择独居的生活方式.家庭居住方式发生的变化是否会影响到老年人从家庭获取所需要的各种支持?本研究通过了解老年人的居住安排,了解到不同居住安排下老年人对于社会支持的需求、社会支持的主要来源,经济收入的主要来源及对经济收入的满意度,身心健康的状况等,希望为政府的养老决策提供一个参考依据,也希望社会关心老年人的生活和养老问题.
