In order to improve the hardness of the parts, heat treatment, nitriding, boronizing and other strengthening methods can be used. The heat treatment is the most widely used, although the heat treatment is relatively simple and cheap, but can not guarantee the necessary wear resistance and anti-adhesion of the plunger pair.
