In the great historical practice of building a new China, Mao Zedong profoundly considered and discussed the issue of Chinese cultural development in the light of the special path of the development of Chinese society and history, and eventually formed Mao Zedong’s cultural thinking as a scientific truth. Mao Zedong’s cultural thought is an important theoretical basis for the construction of socialist culture with Chinese characteristics at present and will have far-reaching guiding significance for deepening the current reform of the Chinese cultural system and promoting the great development and prosperity of socialist culture.
