一、品质育种工作的迫切性长期以来,我国在农业生产上的一个重要的指导思想,就是解决人民的温饱问题。在农业结构上,强调“以粮为纲”;在粮食作物中,强调种植“高产作物”;在人民生活安排上,强调“先吃饱,后吃好”。因此,在作物育种上,只重量不重质。在产量指标上有明确规定,而在质量上虽然也有要求,但在实际评定时确被忽视。从建国三十多年来的育种情况看,虽然育成了不少高产品种,但品质的改进
