英美文学课是高校英语专业高年级学生的专业必修课程,对培养学生的专业知识和人文素养具有不可替代的作用。近年来,该课程在教学实践过程中出现了被压缩与淡化的趋势。随之不少教师提出各种教学方法,以弥补课时不足。通过对是否去掉文学史,是否去掉段落阅读,是否需要超文本语境下教学进行讨论,对英美文学课教学内容与方式进行探索。
The English and American literature course is a required compulsory course for senior English majors in colleges and universities and plays an irreplaceable role in cultivating students’ professional knowledge and humanistic accomplishments. In recent years, the course has been compressed and diluted in teaching practice. Followed by many teachers put forward a variety of teaching methods to make up for lack of hours. Through the discussion of whether to remove the history of literature, whether to remove the paragraph reading, whether the teaching under the context of hypertext needs to be discussed or not, the contents and modes of English and American literature teaching should be explored.
