张画苏题先师苏庚春(1924~2001年),字更淳,河北深县人氏,乃国家文物鉴定委员,书画鉴定家,曾供职于粤之省博。先生不独精鉴书画,书法、篆刻亦擅。其书宗钟繇、王羲之,淡雅飘逸,深为藏界所赏。其室张沛之(蕴贞)女史则雅擅丹青,花卉、翎毛皆精,工写相参,别具一格。但拙于临池,以故先生常为其画题字,并不署己名,行外人不知,以为师母自书矣。古时有“潘(恭寿)画王(文治)题”之谓,今则有“张画苏题”之雅事,一时传为艺苑美谈。著名作家曾敏之曾有二绝句赞之。其一曰:“曾凭博识鉴菁英,燕赵襟怀看岫云。解得天和随分乐,岭南风物最留君”;其二曰:“对花写照品花忙,腕底漆来国色香。为有孤山高格调,故教绿萼傲冰霜”,并题识曰:“庚春、蕴贞贤伉俪一精品篆,一画梅花,恬淡为怀,各有所宁”,可谓知人之言。 20世纪90年代,先生伉俪在京穗两地办书画联展,并梓行《苏庚春张沛之书画集》,一时影响甚广。如今,先生归道山,师母归居京城,深居简出。所作书画,大多流散。当年翰墨因缘,遂成前尘往事。
