Can not think of Shanxi Province, actually still retains such an intact ancient city. Go to Pingyao, all the way dust, all do not feel myself is the twenty-first century man, suddenly entered the old dream. Market, crowd, barking, kissing my childhood, really like back in the past. In the 1950s, many counties and towns in China had similar situations. The buildings followed the ancient style. The city was square and its structure was influenced by the concept of yin and yang. It was quite particular about the situation. In the late seventies, the old cities have been demolished one by one. Now it is very difficult to see such cities bye. On the same day in Pingyao, I visited not only the ancient city gate houses that have been returning to the city for a long time, but also old county offices, banks, etc., which were hard to find even in the 1950s and 1960s in my hometown.
