“职业”是小学英语课程标准主要话题之一。通过这个话题的学习,学生应该掌握一些常用的职业名称单词。为便于教师教学设计,现根据这类名词的拼写规律,分成以下五个类别:第一类:以-er结尾的职业名词,如worker(工人),singe(r歌手),writer(作家),teacher(教师)等。第二类:以-or结尾的职业名词,如acto(r男演员),docto(r医生),sailo(r水手),edito(r编辑)等。第三类:以-ist结尾的职业名词,如artist
