棉花(Gossypium hirsutum)大田生产的用种质量优劣对于播种后萌发、出苗、生长、发育、成熟和产量的影响已为国内外农业工作者所重视。Ferguson等(1971)报道了籽粒饱满的棉籽在总出苗率,幼苗存活率和棉花早期生长等方面均伏于籽粒饱满度差的种子。
The effects of the quality of seeds used in the field production of cotton (Gossypium hirsutum) on the germination, emergence, growth, development, maturity and yield of seeding have been paid more attention by agricultural workers at home and abroad. Ferguson et al. (1971) reported that seeds full of cotton seed had poor seed fullness in total emergence rate, seedling survival rate, and early cotton growth.
