In recent years, with the reform and opening up, many new ideas and new concepts reflecting the development of the times have emerged. “Spirit of the times” belongs to this category. For this generally recognized high frequency of use of the word, whether there is imprecision, unscientific, the author can not improper comment at one time, but attached to some of the fuzzy understanding, because it involves the correct guidance of young people, Necessary to analyze and clarify. The “spirit of the times”, interpreted from the conditions and words people use, should probably be understood as an innovative and behavioral approach that reflects the trend of the times and represents the minds and spiritual pursuits of the people. Such as “Daqing Spirit”, “Lei Feng Spirit”, “Spirit of Shenzhen”, “Contemporary Life Feng Lei Zhang Zixiang spirit” and so on. These advanced models with the characteristics of the times and the imprints represent the trend of social development and the spiritual pursuit of the people and have been recognized and respected by the broad masses of the people. They undoubtedly belong to the category of “the spirit of the times.” However, we must also see that since some comrades misunderstand the understanding of the “spirit of the times,” they can not but dazzle some decadent, backward and negative things into pursuing indiscriminate pursuit. This can not but be vigilant . At home, the current trend of popular thinking in some young people is such as “how much money to give, how much to live in”, “high spending” and “having all the money”. These are not actually “the spirit of the times,” which at best can only be regarded as “the phenomenon of the times.” If these things are indiscriminately escalated to promote and promote, and even to pursue as a credo of life, it is easy to enter the misunderstanding of life. This is not an alarmist case. In real life, it is not uncommon for people who have lost their way into the quagmire due to their blind pursuit of “the spirit of the times.” Such pursuit of “the spirit of the times,” will inevitably be ruined to send myself.
