Under the current conditions of capitalist production in the United Kingdom, the father-son relationship in the family farms has undergone great changes. Farmers leaving their children to work on their own farms not only expanded the size of the farm but also made the farms not only a work unit but an effective management unit reflecting the capitalization and commercialization of British agriculture process. From a sociological point of view, as a result of this new development in agriculture, kinship no longer centers on a wide range of bloodlines, but more on the farm as a unit in the form of paternity or marriage. This shows not only that the nuclear family no longer dominates the British farms, but also shows that expanded families of inbreeding are developing under the power of the capitalist market.
