The Ukrainian incident, which evolved into a war from conflict, brought Central and Eastern European countries into sanctions and counter-sanctions in the West and Russia. The economies of Central and Eastern European countries seem to have just emerged from the shadow of the international financial crisis and the debt crisis in Europe and have suffered the brunt of the unexpected crisis in Ukraine. For the sake of their country’s interests, the Central and Eastern European countries have carried out indomitable struggles and struggles both in and out of the country and achieved remarkable economic results. Despite the crisis in Ukraine, there was a strong recovery in the economies of Central and Eastern European countries in 2014, with the economic growth rate of individual countries reaching the best level since the international financial crisis. Although the game between the West and Russia is aggravating and the crisis in Ukraine continues with many variables and difficulties, the general economic recovery in Central and Eastern European countries can no longer be stopped. Most countries’ economies will rapidly recover to their pre-international financial crisis levels.
