为促进亚太区智力残疾人工作的进一步发展,增进彼此的交流与合作,10月11日,由中国残联和联合国亚太经社会共同举办的亚太经社会智力残疾人工作国际研讨会在上海市残疾人康复职业培训中心开幕。来自新西兰、马来西亚、泰国、日本、缅甸、印度、菲律宾、越南以及中国和中国香港等10个国家和地区近40名代表出席会议。中国残联副理事长申知非、亚太经社会代表秋山爱子女士出席开幕式并致辞。
In order to promote the further development of the work of persons with intellectual disabilities in the Asia-Pacific region and enhance mutual exchanges and cooperation, the ESCAP International Symposium on Intellectual Disability Working jointly organized by the China Disabled Persons Federation and UNESCAP on October 11 in Shanghai Rehabilitation Vocational Training Center opened. Nearly 40 delegates from 10 countries and regions including New Zealand, Malaysia, Thailand, Japan, Myanmar, India, the Philippines, Vietnam, China and Hong Kong, China attended the meeting. Vice-chairman of China Disabled Persons’ Federation declared a non-statement, and Akihiko Akiyama, representative of ESCAP, attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech.
