上海重型汽车厂是生产4吨、15吨、32吨载重汽车的专业生产厂,是国家重点骨干企业。 该厂位于上海市闸北彭浦工业区,占地10万多米~2,全厂有职工2000余人,各类设备700余台,年产4吨载重汽车2000辆,15吨载重汽乍800辆,并于1970年开始,为冶余矿山生产SH380型32吨矿用自卸汽车共637辆,有力地支援了我国矿山建设。 上海重型汽车厂在国内重型汽车行业中,生产15吨重型车、32吨矿用车历史最早,产品质最好,产量居全国首位,价格低廉,销往全国29个省、市、自冶区(除台湾外),并曾出口巴基斯坦、贝宁、朝鲜、尼泊尔等国家。
