随着经济全球化进程加快,经济社会对职业技术人才提出了新的要求。高等职业院校学生的英语交流水平将成为其发展的瓶颈。目前,高等职业院校英语教学普遍存在教学观念陈旧、教学脱离实际、缺乏人文素养、考核形式单一等问题,阻碍了学生英语能力的提升。只有坚持创新培养方式、改变教学模式、提升师资队伍、注重人文素养、完善评价体系,才能提高高职院校英语教学质量,培养出综合素质高、沟通能力强的应用性技术人才。
With the acceleration of economic globalization, economic and social sectors have placed new demands on professional and technical personnel. The English communication level of students in higher vocational colleges will become the bottleneck of its development. At present, there are common problems in English teaching in higher vocational colleges, such as obsolete teaching concept, teaching from practice, lack of humanistic accomplishment and single examination form, which hinders the improvement of students’ English proficiency. Only by adhering to the ways of innovating and cultivating, changing the teaching mode, upgrading the teaching staff, focusing on humanities and improving the evaluation system can we improve the English teaching quality in higher vocational colleges and cultivate applied technical talents with high comprehensive quality and strong communication skills.
