张志淳(1458—1538年),明朝云南金齿卫(治所位于今保山市)人~①,字进之,自号南园野人~②,明成化庚子科(1480年)举人,登甲辰(1484年)进士~③,官至南京户部右侍郎,致仕归。功业风节,为时崇尚。晚岁著书自娱,其著作《南园漫录》为《四库全书》收录,《永昌二芳记》为《四库全书》存目;明代云南文人著作收入《四库全书》者,盖张志淳为最。他另有《南园续录》十卷~④、《谥法》二卷⑤、《西铭通》~⑥、《南园集》~⑦等著作。史称其“学行两全,名实并懋”~⑧。
