前段时日,我集中时间和精力连续读了三部长篇小说,它们是胡赛尼《追风筝的人》(美国)、麦克尤恩《阿姆斯特丹》(英国)、库雷西《亲密》(英国),三部小说大致有三个共同的特点:一是作者都是活着的正在欧美甚至全球走红的洋知名作家;二是内容基本上写的是当下城市生活里边的人和事,可称得上“城市小说”吧;三是畅销,小说推销者随便一张口就说卖了几十上百万,仿佛闹着玩儿,用马尔克斯的话说,像热狗一样在每个地铁口热卖。
A while ago, I concentrated on time and energy to read three novels in a row: Hosseini “The Kite Runner” (USA), McEwan “Amsterdam” (UK), Kuressi “Intimate” (UK ), The three novels generally have three common characteristics: First, the author is alive in Europe and the United States and even the world famous red-hot foreign writers; Second, the content is basically written in the current city life inside the people and things can be regarded as “City novel ” it; the third is best-selling, novelist just a mouth to sell dozens of millions, as if joke, in the words of Marquez, like a hot dog in each subway mouth hot .
