滨湖镇位于滕州市西部,地处微山湖东岸,辖区面积149平方公里,总人口12万,作为我省确立的7个经济发达镇行政管理体制改革试点镇之一,试点工作启动实施以来,在省、市编办的具体指导下,滕州市紧紧围绕统筹城乡发展、加快推进新型城镇化、打造县域次中心的目标,坚持四个到位,着力提高滨湖镇经济发展、社会管理和公共服务能力,激发了发展动力和活力。滨湖镇抢抓试点机遇,发挥自身优势加快发展,先后获得全国文明镇、国家级生态镇、全国特色景观旅游名镇、山东省旅游强镇称号;2012年,荣获全市目标考核一等奖,改革取得了初步成效。
