何平,中国影坛的资深导演。当导演至今,拍摄的影片虽然不多,但精而又精,几乎是每部影片一出炉便是一部精美的极品。《双旗镇刀客》(1990年)在国际上屡获殊荣,《炮打双灯》(1993年)、《日光峡谷》(1995年)也同样享誉国际影坛。虽然不拍电影有六七年,但其间由他监制、策划的影片,如《甲方乙方》、《大腕》、《卧虎藏龙》等仍让人刮目相看。几年的沉寂,何平重又拿起导筒,拍摄了他早在1984年就开始酝酿的《天地英雄》。9月23日北京故宫端门的首映式揭开了这部国产大片的面纱。很有幸我们采访到了何平,而平和恬淡穿着随意的他,与我们想象中的大导演相去甚远。何平说,我是个喜欢想象而崇尚奇迹的人,我的影片表现奇迹,《天地英雄》就是一个奇迹。伴着这个奇迹,何平将要冲刺奥斯卡……
