2017年10月11日21时06分,《建筑钢结构进展》编委会主任、中国工程院院士、同济大学沈祖炎教授在上海中山医院因病逝世,永远地离开了我们,享年82岁。从此,同济大学失去了一位为教育事业呕心沥血、奋斗终身的杰出学者,土木工程界失去了一位高瞻远瞩、解决了众多工程难题的行业泰斗,他的学生、同事、同行失去了一位慈祥睿智的良师益友。今天,他虽然离开了我们,但是他的崇高品德和卓越成就将永远铭记在我们的心里。沈祖炎院士,1935年6月5日出生于浙江省杭州市。1955年毕业于同济大学工业与民用建
At 11:01 on October 11, 2017, the director of the Editorial Board of “Progress in Steel Structure Construction”, academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering, and Professor Shen Zuyan of Tongji University died at the Zhongshan Hospital in Shanghai and died at the age of 82. Since then, Tongji University has lost an outstanding scholar who has devoted painstaking efforts to education and a lifetime of hard work. The civil engineering community has lost a leading position in the industry that has solved many engineering problems. His students, colleagues and colleagues have lost a kind-hearted and wise Mentor. Although he has left us today, his noble character and outstanding achievements will always be forever in our hearts. Academician Shen Zuyan, born on June 5, 1935 in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province. 1955 graduated from Tongji University industrial and civil construction
