Bisphenol A is one of the most productive compounds in the world, with a total annual production of more than 6 billion pounds, mainly used in the manufacture of polycarbonate plastics and epoxy resins, which are in turn widely used in people’s daily lives, 100 tons of bisphenol A is released into the atmosphere. Bisphenol A structure similar to estradiol, with weak pseudo-estrogen activity and strong anti-androgen effect, it is considered to be an endocrine disruptor compounds. The current study shows that bisphenol A and some diseases related to the occurrence, such as genitourinary system, endocrine system and cardiovascular system and other diseases. Among them, the relationship between bisphenol A and childhood obesity is receiving more and more attention. Bisphenol A may be through the estrogen effect, the role of the proposed glucocorticoid regulation of obesity-related gene expression or direct effect on the preadipocytes and other means to promote the formation or accumulation of fat, leading to the occurrence of obesity. Here mainly children’s exposure to bisphenol A, and its relationship with obesity are summarized.
