曾被收录进美国《世界名人录》、英国《国际名人录》、日本《中国现代美术家名录》中的常任侠老先生,是我国著名诗人、东方艺术文学者。先生早年先后就读于南京美专和南京国立中大文学院,其间当过新闻记者,参加过北伐革命。1936年,先后在重庆给周恩来同志当过秘书,编辑过《抗战日报》、《学术杂志》、《中国周报》等刊物。解放后任北大、师大、佛教学院特邀教授,中央美术学院教授等职。先生著述颇丰,桃李天下。
Has been included in the United States, “Who’s Who in the World”, the British “Who’s Who”, Japan “Chinese Modern Artists Directory” in the permanent Xia Lao Mr., is China’s famous poet, Oriental art writer. In his early years, he successively enrolled in Nanjing American College and Nanjing National University of Chinese Language and Culture, during which he worked as a journalist and participated in the Northern Expedition. In 1936, he successively worked as a secretary to Comrade Zhou Enlai in Chongqing and edited such publications as “Anti-Japanese War Daily”, “Academic Journal” and “China Weekly”. After the liberation, Peking University, National Taiwan Normal University, Buddhism Institute invited professor, Central Academy of Fine Arts professor and other staff.
