一、项目提出樟树是我国特有的经济和用材树种之一,亦是勐海县主要乡土树种,其木材质地致密,具芳香,不但是造船、家用器具、工艺美术品的上等用材,且其枝、叶、皮、茎、根含精油,全树均可利用,经济价值甚高。云南樟树叶中精油含量组成成分因各地区小品种不同差异甚大。大理香樟和景东樟以含油为主,油中成分主要为柠檬醛;丽江香樟,楚雄樟和大理黑叶樟,樟油中以含桉油素为主;威信的猴樟有含黄樟油素、桉油素和单萜
