对瓠瓜DNA导入西瓜变异后代进行同工酶和染色体分析的结果表明,D_2代变异株成株期功能叶过氧化物酶同工酶酶带数增加,出现了供体植株的酶带。虽然变异株的染色体核型和C-带带型与受体相似,但变异株部分染色体的臂长、臂比、带型与受体相比产生了明显的变异。初步认为西瓜的性状变异是供体瓠瓜DNA导入的结果。
The results of isozyme analysis and chromosome analysis of the mutants of watermelon induced by DNA introduction showed that the enzyme bands of donor plants appeared in D_2 generation mutant with increasing number of functional leaf peroxidase isozymes. Although the chromosomal karyotypes and C-banding patterns of mutants were similar to those of the receptor, the variation of arm length, arm ratio and band type of some chromosomes of mutants was significantly different from that of the receptor. Initially that the watermelon trait variation is the result of the donor Cucumber DNA import.
