近年来,恶意拖欠农民工工资造成的纠纷甚至极端事件不断发生,成为社会生活中一个比较严重的问题。对此,党中央、国务院高度重视,多次强调,“要依法严厉查处恶意拖欠、克扣农民工工资等违法行为,保障农民工的合法权益。”用人单位必须以货币形式支付农民工工资,不得以任何名义拖欠和克扣。一些地方正积极开展专项检查,纠正渎职行为,打击不法企业主,帮助农民工追讨血汗钱。
