所谓“白陶”是指在我国新石器时代晚期出现并取得初步发展,在殷商时期达到顶峰的一种以含铁量较低的高岭土为原料,经高温烧制而成的一种白色陶器。因其胎质所含化学成份的细微不同,有的纯白,有的灰白或略泛橙红、黄色。安金槐先生将其称之为“原始素烧瓷”。在瓷器出现之前还有一种从我国长江以南、东南沿海地区发展起来的印纹硬陶,其胎质为含铁量较高的高岭土,陶色为褐色。在黄河中下游地区新石器时代晚期虽然
