The ancient Olympic Games held its first session from 776 BC to the end of 393 AD for 1169 and held 293 sessions. During these 1,000 years, the war between Greece’s more than 200 city-states even came one after another and never stopped. However, the ancient Olympic Games have never been closed down because of the war, but on an increasingly large scale, more and more projects. This article explores the relationship between the ancient Greek war and the ancient Olympic Games based on the literature and materials method, and draws the dialectical relationship between the mutual promotion and mutual restraint.
