SMART是一种用于印刷电路板布线圈计算机辅助设计的软件包,初学计算机的电子爱好者及学校学生都能快速地掌握。手工设计印刷电路图费力又费时,特别是手工设计双面板图,更是如此。若用计算机(286以上)和SMART软件来设计印刷电路,就可以很方便地在计算机上绘制各种走线,焊盘的单双面图,并可把打印图制成软盘送到制板厂光绘制板。诚软件包程序存在一张51/4英寸的普通密度盘上,运行于DOS2.0以上系统。 SMART软件能够对印刷电路的底面图、表面图(元器件面)、器件位置图等进行编辑设计,通过键盘可以设置及消除焊盘及走线,在屏幕上同时用二种颜色显示底面及表面走线,激活二个焊点后可以自动连线,为了避免与其它导体相交,有时还会拐几个弯。能够设置集成电路等标准元器件的焊盘,焊盘的间距为0.05英寸的倍数。导线细线的宽度为0.3mm,粗线宽度为1.0mm(可以并叠加宽)。焊盘直径初始设置为1.5mm,如果两邻近焊点之间有线通过,能自动修整焊盘形状,使它与走线之间保持不小于19密耳的允许距离。最大允许设计的线路板的尺寸为25.8×41.3cm,绘制完毕后,设计图可以做为一个标准的DOS磁盘文件存入软盘或硬盘并可复制
